My style for the map of Conshen, using terracing and turbulence combined with a semi-transparent biome layer over monochrome heightmap. Note that turbulence in the biomes results in small black patches near coastlines and lakes; this can be avoided by changing the biome map to the "blurred splotch" effect or just no effect, but I really like the added randomness of the turbulence look!
