Hey; Saw you were hankering for a rating, and figured I'd pitch in. This is one of my favorite asset packs, and I love the effects I can create with it. By far my favorite light sources from this pack are the "fuzzy" lights. I've used them to great effect when I needed a sickly, almost "radioactive" vibe, as well as for a sort of dappled look
I also love most of the new lights you've added in this update: I'm sure I can, for example, find a use for those almost "vortex-like" lights. They're not as useful as they could be if Dungeondraft allowed us to rotate light sources, but I'm sure that feature will come in time!
As for what I'd like to see in the future, I'd honestly love some funky things like maybe rune circles or some sigils. Maybe a couple of flames? Either way, I look forward to whatever you bring next.
Anyway, this review's gone on long enough. Keep up the good work!
I have been having fun with the just different things you can do with the lights in Dungeondraft for sure, and I will absolutely agree my top-most ideal feature is rotating lights. I mean, I'm not sure if Sploot ever really considered just the weird and varied atmospheric things we could create with the lights, but it's funny that it's the first thing we've attached to as a community (Crave's pack has lots of things in a similar vein, lol).
The Vortex/Milky Way ones are the ones I did on my new tablet, so I'm super-hyped you mentioned them! They're also my favorites, along with the Circular Portals which debuted in the last pack, as well as the Flash ones. All probably because I worked the hardest on them, haha.
Runic circles sound fun! (As in, the kind of fun I could be lost in for hours just making up gibberish phrases and writing them!) I'll definitely look at including those in the next update, and again thanks so much for responding with not only a rating, but a full-fledged piece of feedback. <3
