As far as I know each user needs to manually set tags for externally packaged items. You can find the objects at the -very- end of the object list under "all".
You can certainly add a tag for them form the menu --> edit object tags
This will make them much easier to find in the future.

This is my first attempt, as I learn more I will update as necessary.
This works a lot better on smaller maps (trying to figure out a way to make taller-looking cliffs without crazy distortion).
